Life at times gets complicated, with work, home, family, finances, health and friends all needing attention. Then well meaning friends and family advise us we are not getting the balance right. Yet at times we have to work 60 hours a week, let go of our exercise regime, healthy eating plan or whatever simply to achieve what is important in the short term.

Life is about ebb and flow; successful individuals understand this simple, though not easy concept. Others live their lives based on what others want them to do. If we react to external conditioning, expectations of others, pressures imposed on us, we lose sight of our bigger picture, what we really want to achieve.

The key to self growth and development is to spend 30 minutes a day investing in what you really want. This may mean accessing a coach, developing a dream board, clarifying your goals, and being clear about your purpose. Getting your mindset right will support you to understand sometimes things are not in our control day to day. You may not get the work / life balance right for a short while, and this is OK when this is a conscious decision, you are in the ebb and flow , trust this and you will regain control.

Working on your own development will reverse the external conditioning; shift your focus toward moving forward.

Ensure your mindset is right every morning, make small incremental changes, enjoy the process, you will see the difference.

What will motivate you to take action?
We all have in us the innate desire to learn and develop, its part of who we are as human beings, yet why does it sometimes feel we are not achieving anything? The answer is for all of us is, life sometimes gets in the way. No matter how well intentioned we are on a Monday morning ready for any challenge the week may offer us, we can get bogged down in the detail, losing the fresh perspective we started the week with. The best strategy when life gets busy, when we are unable to see the woods for the trees is to not go it alone. How many people make the time to to reflect on work or personal performance, determining what is working and what can be developed? For some taking time out would seem an indulgence, for others an investment, yet we all take time to maintain and service our cars for we need them to function.

Research shows engaging the services of a professional coach is an investment, the process is specific and purposeful, impartial and confidential. The aim to tap into your resources, find out who you are, what is important to you, what exactly you want from your life, then taking action to achieve it. Is this an indulgence or an investment? Will you find out what will bring you and the results you want and then do what it takes? Success requires tenacity, find whatever support will get you going and keep you on track, and remember you don’t need to go it alone

She was very reassuring in her verbal interactions with me. I especially liked the way she kept me focused on my goal and encouraged me to write my thoughts down.
I felt highly motivated during the process and did reach all the goals I set myself. Whilst I could describe these vague goals, it seemed a number of factors were not clear, some where not even known. In working through a programme of coaching with Denise, not only have these goals become clear, the route and time table to attain them has also been mapped out. Before coaching a number of my dreams seemed 'over there', the path to 'over there' was not clear. I now know I am in a stronger position to take control of what I am doing and how my life will develop. I feel I have many things to thank Denise for, she has helped me gain a better understanding of the person I am.

Andy
Sussex

Denise has helped me to define my goals and refine them as we have moved through the coaching process. Her very effective method of thoughtful questioning has helped me to reach my goals and whilst challenging me she has made the process enjoyable. Her professionalism has meant I could be open with my thoughts and feelings which has opened up my options far wider than I thought possible before undertaking coaching. I will certainly recommend Denise as a coach in the future and will use her again as I need.

Gill
Cheshire

Coaching is a powerful tool that can help you to make changes in your business or career, improve personal performance, enhance your relationships, or develop specific skills.

How is coaching different from other professions?

As a discipline coaching differs from consulting, mentoring or therapy; it does not analyse behaviour or spend time reviewing past events, focusing instead on individual resourcefulness and what can be achieved in the future.

Who engages coaching services?

Those who wish to develop to their full potential, take responsibility for what happens in their lives.

What happens when you work with a Coach?

You gain fresh perspective on who you are, what values are important to you, what motivates you, what holds you back. You gain clarity about what you want and what you need to do to get it.

Does the Coach work on Personal goals or Business goals?

Coaches believe that personal and business matters definitely impact each other. I will work on issues that impact your professional performance, e.g. confidence or stress. Please contact me to further discuss.

Where does the Coach focus?

The coaching process is bespoke for each client, the focus is on what will make each client their most successful and fulfilled.

Why is coaching popular?

Coaching is a time specific, purposeful process that offers lasting results, positive change you can feel.

It utilises ideas, tools and models proven to encourage fresh insight and learning.

How long is the time commitment when working with a coach?

Each series of coaching sessions is bespoke for each client. Coaching begins with a consultation to design coaching to meet your needs and time frame.

What does it cost to hire a coach?

Coaching is not expensive; it is an investment, the results of which are long lasting, offering great return and value for money.

Please contact me for a no obligation discussion to discuss your requirements.

‘A team is a small number of people with complementary skills who are committed to a common purpose, performance goals and approach, for which they hold themselves mutually accountable.’

Is this your team?

In great teams people are free to express their feelings as well as their ideas. Each team member understands their role and importance in the team, buys into the aims and objectives, understanding the importance of their role. Empowered and fully functioning teams get the best results. Great teamwork is fostered by respecting, encouraging individuals to work to achieve their very best.

Coaching teams to improve performance and motivation works by safely and constructively reviewing current work practices and relationships. Teams benefit from an external coach encouraging them to think creatively, building on what works well, changing practices that do not serve, in order to function more effectively.

Coaching to suit your individual requirements.

Team building training days are more effective when delivered experientially, rather than simply in the classroom. Your team will get an opportunity to work together on projects which requires a cohesive effort, then review what went well and what can be developed. Progress is incremental, individual will feel their own progress, understand what works for them and take this back to the workplace for the benefit of the team.

Bespoke training is offered to suit your individual requirements.

Evidence shows that goal-setting essentially links to performance, providing a sense of direction and purpose. For this reason goal setting is now widely accepted as an effective tool toward personal and professional development.

On a personal level, setting goals is a powerful process that supports you to define and work toward your own objectives. Being clear about what you want and setting a course of action narrows attention toward your goal and the effort required to achieve it.

For a team, having a common purpose ensures individuals are fully aware of what is expected of them, understanding their individual contribution in achieving the goal.

If a team contribute to the process of goal setting, motivation and persistence remain high as the team take specific action and keep on track.

Learning the most effective way to set goals is key to success for individuals, teams and organisations.
